Celebrity colourist Louise Galvin has over 20 years' experience in the hair colouring industry. Based at her father's famous Daniel Galvin salon in London, she has coloured the hair of countless fashion and beauty icons including Sophie Dahl and Patsy Kensit. . Her in depth knowledge of coloured hair has led her to create the revolutionary Louise Galvin Sacred Locks haircare line, the first CarbonNeutral beauty company in the UK.
Louise is also passionate about the environment and is committed to creating products that mean you can achieve luscious locks guilt-free. The elegant and understated, Renaissance-inspired motif of winding vines on the packaging suggests freedom, strength, romance and sensuality. The range is packaged in 300 ml unbreakable bottles, making them both suitable for travel and child-safe. Each bottle has a silver disc top dispenser. The treatment masque is packaged in a luxurious white 250ml pot with screw top to allow ease of use.
Shampoo for Fine Hair - £22.00 for 300ml
A clarifying shampoo which contains natural citrus essential oils to cleanse the hair without creating any build-up of residue. The shampoo is free from Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, so while the cleanser foams as any ordinary shampoo does, it does not over-stimulate the sebaceous glands of the scalp, so preventing greasy roots. The mild cleansing agents also help to maintain hair colour for longer and produce added shine.
Conditioner for Fine Hair - £24.00 for 300ml
A light, intensive treatment to hydrate the hair, leaving it smooth, shiny and full of body. Unlike heavy, polymer-based conditioners any surplus simply rinses away preventing any clogging residue. The wheat proteins and vitamins greatly reduce negative charges, eliminating fly-away hair. Natural conditioning agents leave the hair flexible, glossy and tangle-free, with added volume and lasting hydration.
Treatment Masque for Fine Hair - £26.00 for 250ml
The masque contains a naturally modified form of honey combined with wheat proteins and natural conditioning agents to produce an effect on the hair which is immediately visible. It offers a twice-weekly intensive treatment for hair and can also be used as a daily conditioner for moisture depleted hair.

Mother To Be is the hair care line created by renowned British colourist Louise Galvin. This most recent addition to her natural and superbly effective Sacred Locks hair and body range, Mother To Be was inspired by Louise’s own recent pregnancy. While pregnant, Louise found she needed a little extra help to retain her hair’s shine and vitality and to create volume. She also discovered that she was far more sensitive to smells and that the citrus aromatherapy oils in her other products were sometimes overpowering in the early days of her pregnancy. Louise set about creating a product that is both fragrance-free and extremely enriching, made especially for pregnant women. The result is Mother To Be.
As a mother-to-be herself, Louise was naturally concerned about safety: skin is our largest organ and anything we put on it (from body wash to shampoo) is absorbed into the bloodstream and can find its way to the growing foetus through the placenta. After pregnancy, these same chemicals also end up in breast milk. Many popular cosmetics are made with damaging chemicals that have been linked to birth defects and health problems; others contain ingredients that have yet to be fully tested for safety.
